Terms

Desk is free during the beta.

Your words are yours. Use Desk honestly, and we may end a pass that doesn’t.

Who we are

Habitat Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) / 509(a)(2) public charity. EIN 42-2210447. hello@habitat.ooo. Incorporated in Massachusetts.

The beta

Desk is offered free, as it is, while it is in beta. It may change, pause or close. We keep the beta to the number of people we can serve well. Donations to the Foundation are welcome and never required; a donation doesn’t change what Desk does for you.

Your words

You keep every right to what you write. We don’t publish, sell or reuse it. Desk reads a paragraph only when you ask, and keeps nothing of it. What you share by inviting, you share with the members you invite.

Your pass

One pass, one person. Keep it to yourself. We may end a pass that is shared, used to harm others, or used to break or overload Desk.

What you agree not to do

Post anything unlawful, or anything you have no right to share. Try to get around a login, a limit or a check. Read another person’s work without their invitation.

What Desk is

A tool that shows the record. It writes nothing for you and judges nothing. It is not legal, medical, financial or professional advice.

No warranty

Desk is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, the Foundation is not liable for lost work or indirect harm. Save your work: the file drawer says so for a reason.

Changes

If these terms change, the date below changes. Using Desk after that means you accept them.
